We are Jolyon Smith and Dionne Benjamin-Smith, a husband and wife team who always wanted to work together creatively. After thirteen years in the work force where we garnered invaluable character- and skills-building experiences, we both felt it was time to join our unique talents together and bring into existence an idea long in the making. Our dream of a more personal and unique art & design business was the birth of SMITH+BENJAMIN. With over 25 years of combined creative experience, we offer a perfect balance of diverse ideas, extraordinary talents and design fundamentals for every project we take on.

Having been identified as possessing immense ability at a young age, Jolyon knew that becoming an artist was one of his life's callings. Through the years, Jolyon has received numerous national and international awards and scholarships allowing him to further his education in Fine Art, Painting and Illustration at the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, RI. His work has been sought after by well-known companies as Condé Nast Publications and his talents include drawing, painting, design, digital art, mural painting, sculpture and so much more.

Considered one of the top creative graphic designers in The Bahamas, Dionne has designed work for numerous local and off-shore companies in The Bahamas. She is also considered a unique visual artist in the medium of printmaking and digital media. Dionne has won scholarships and awards for her artistic and design ability and also graduated with honors from the Rhode Island School of Design where she obtained a BFA degree in Graphic Design. Dionne has participated in group exhibitions in The Bahamas, the U.S.A. and in the U.K. and her work can be found in private collections around the world.
